There’s always a story behind a name.
Sometimes it comes from family. Sometimes a favorite actor. Sometimes it’s just something unique that sticks.

That was the story with Robert Danilo, one of our talented former crew leaders at Genesis Pro Painting here in Westchester County.

Where His Name Came From

His name was a tribute to actor Robert De Niro, blended from his parents’ own names, Roberval and Daniela. Danilo grew up watching De Niro movies with his dad, which made the name even more meaningful.

From Brazil to Westchester

Danilo moved from Brazil to the United States a few years before this story was written in 2020. During his time with us, he worked on some incredible homes, including one high-profile project he was especially proud of:

“I was the crew leader in charge of painting Bruce Willis’s former residence in Mount Kisco.”

Yeah — that one.
We were honored to be trusted with it, and it’s the kind of project that reflects the strong curb appeal Mount Kisco homes are known for.
